SOO many adorable goodies to introduce you to at MMIM, this week’s Ets(y) Wednesday feature. Whether you are looking for bride and groom ring boxes, coin banks, frames, felt easter basket, dish clothes, or one of their amazing wood boxes…they truly have something for everyone.
The shop’s owner, Brooke, shares a bit about her technique, how she manages such a successful shop with 3 kiddos, and reveals some of her own favorite Etsy shops!
Q. We LOVE your frames. What process do you use to transfer your images? If this is ‘classified’ you certainly don’t have to answer.
A. I use a decoupage technique. There are a lot of steps before the frame is complete. I try to make it look like the design is painted on.
Q. As a mama of 3, how do you find the time for your shop? (Something so many of us struggle with).
A. I struggle too! I feel there is not enough time in the day to get done all the things I want to do. I do all that I can while the kids are at school. As soon as they get home it is all about baseball, band, dinner, homework and whatever else comes with that day. I love what I do and I get to be home when they are. When it gets really busy my kids step in and help out! It’s a family thing! 🙂
Q. If you were an animal what animal would you be?
A. My daughter says I would be a Golden Retriever. I am not sure though. I guess that’s a good thing!
Q. Do you have any favorite shops on Etsy we might not know about?
A. YES! I am amazed by the talent of so many artists and creators. First my sister has a shop on here. She is a favorite.
MMIM is giving away one of their lovely Above the World boxes (above) to a lucky reader. Enter the giveaway below by next Friday, March 30th!
